Upward Bound is one of six Federal TRIO Programs
developed in 1965 during the Johnson administration's “War on Poverty.” All TRIO Programs are designed to motivate and support students from disadvantaged backgrounds, supplementing their existing education and preparing them for academic success at all educational levels.
Although I provided these students with the tools to express themselves, they are responsible for the fruits of their labor. Some of them had never touched a camera, and by the end of the six week program, they were shooting and editing their own ideas.

While living in Frigiliana, Spain, Mike and I created a small production company called Vagabundo Productions. Here you will find numerous events that Mike would film and I would edit.

Although the beauty of Frigiliana cannot truly be captured on video, we hope you can get an idea of the village's tranquility through our hard work.
